Sage Science launched of Pippin Link and Pippin Pulse, two new products designed to streamline library prep workflow and enhance the utility of the Pippin line of automated DNA size selection products. The Pippin Link is an accessory for the Pippin Prep and BluePippin that lets users boost throughput by connecting up to eight instruments and controlling them from a single computer.
Coherent introduced a new range of fiber-pigtailed (FP) lasers into its portfolio of FP products. The new Sapphire FP lasers are compact, CW, visible lasers that offer a combination of low noise and output stability. These lasers are available at seven wavelengths (458 nm, 488 nm, 514 nm, 532 nm, 552 nm, 561 nm and 588 nm), at output powers of up to 120 mW.
The OM-MICROLITE is a small data logger for monitoring and recording temperature. Despite the compact design, the OM-MICROLITE data is clearly displayed on the logger’s numeric screen.
Life sciences research today is advancing exponentially, each step bringing us closer to the realization of truly personalized medicine–preventive care and treatments designed specifically for each individual. In the near future, PCPGM healthcare researchers expect to be able to use predictive genetic testing to create custom treatment plans for individuals and deliver dramatic improvements over today’s one-size-fits-all approach. But research capabilities are only part of the equation; current storage and operating capacities must also evolve to accommodate ever-expanding amounts of data before the goal of personalized medicine can be realized.
Omega’s new CE compliant OM-80 series of data loggers and readers provide a solution for cold chain environmental monitoring.
MDS Analytical Technologies introduced six-channel and two-channel versions of the SpectraMax L, a new multiple photomultiplier-based platform for microplate luminometers designed for drug-discovery scientists who screen small molecules for biological activity and life sciences researchers who investigate protein-protein interactions.LISTED UNDER: Luminometers
CuBiAn XC benchtop random access biochemistry analyzer offers a nearly unlimited, expandable range of measurement applications. Substrates and metabolites can be detected. Kinetic and endpoint determination of assays are possible.
Microplates using cyclo olefin polymer (COP) resin for the plate body and lid have distinctive physical and chemical properties that create a combination of clarity, thermal stability, biocompatibility, low auto-fluorescence, flatness and chemical resistance.
New twin.tec PCR plates incorporate titanium dioxide, which gives the reaction chambers a bright white, opaque color. This results in up to a 10-fold increase in reflection of fluorescence, providing better data for applications such as low volume qPCR.
This DAP board includes an onboard processor running a real-time operating system. DAPstudio, a Windows application, allows users to communicate with and control this real-time operating system. Users also can do this from third party Windows applications.
Goldiblot provides an alternative to enzymatic methods for the detection of recombinant His-tagged proteins on membrane blots such as immunoblots and Westerns.
Altix ICE 8200 is a line of bladed servers for HPC applications. It enables large scale-out environments while minimizing their demands on a data center’s space and power.
OM-CP-TRANSITEMP-EC low-cost temperature recorder allows users to monitor temperature fluctuations over time during shipment or storage of goods. Each unit can only be started once, and is used to monitor temperature during one application.
Cryo-Temp data recorder can be placed in environments ranging in temperature from 㫮 C to +35 C.
