Labconco’s new Purifier Logic+ keeps the researcher safe from the biohazard agents being used and offers a design with emphasis on human design. It's the human factor that ultimately dictates how an operator works, which directly affects productivity and safety. Labconco's Inclination Technology includes features that reinforce what humans are inclined to do, so comfort is provided with an angled sash for a closer, more comfortable view; an electrical outlet cover that can be opened with one finger and slowly self-closes. A true line-of-sight, full color LCD information center, ADA-compliant touchpad controls to allow manual activation of blower, timer, audible alarm mute and menu selection; ADA-compliant service fixtures mounted 8.5 inches above the work surface to maximize usable surface area, and a curved inlet grille to support the user's forearms. The cabinet also offers a large interior work area and the 27 inches of viewing height offers visual accessibility. Performance and safety of the cabinet is enhanced by the Electronically Commutated Motor (ECM) that provides energy-efficient operation, and Constant Airflow Profile (CAP) technology, which is a monitoring system that communicates with the ECM to deliver the precise volume of air that is required and automatically adjusts as filters load. The Air-Wave Entry System consists of aerodynamic angles that surround the access opening providing less airflow resistance for better containment, and the Contain-Air Negative Pressure Channel that draws air in prevents loss of containment at the top of the sash. The Line-of-Sight Information Center with MyLogic OS provides at-a-glance assurance that the cabinet is operating safely.
