Protector XLE laboratory hoods are available in seven widths and have a 35 viewing height. The vertical-rising tempered safety glass sash includes a counter-balanced self-closing mechanism to maintain a hood access opening of 18 providing enhanced safety and energy savings. A sash latch holds the sash in a 28 high position for easy loading and unloading. To improve hood access, all models offer a low profile air foil with aerodynamic Clean-Sweep airflow openings. The air foil pivots up for cleaning, and its ADA-compliant sill trough doesn't require a cabinet overhang. Electrical cord pass-throughs on both ends of the air foil safely corral cords. The cabinet exterior is made of glacier white, dry powder epoxy-coated steel and the interior features chemical-resistant molded composite panel liner with pre-set baffles. Models are available in 4-, 5-, 6-, 7- and 8-feet widths.
