Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) genotyping is carried out using eight Illumina BeadArray instruments and custom or off-the-shelf Illumina Infinium chips or GoldenGate marker sets, for whole genome studies, candidate gene investigation and other applications. The platform operates on a 24/7 basis with a throughput of up to 100 million genotypes per day. Genetic analysis is performed using GeneSys, the company’s validated software platform running in a high-throughput cluster computing environment. Basic analysis includes phase determination, single and multi-marker haplotype analysis, as well as genome-wide or study-wide statistical significance analysis. Customers are also offered the option to run more advanced custom developed algorithms.
