PCRboost reagent improves sensitivity and specificity during amplification of genomic DNA or RNA templates. Simply replace the water in a standard PCR or RT-PCR reaction and use your own cycling conditions and equipment. The reagent is chemically stable and will not change the melting or annealing temperature of the template, eliminating the need to optimize the PCR reaction. The product is stored at room temperature, can be used with any commercial Taq polymerase, and is particularly well-suited for minute samples (<1 ng). Even difficult samples and sequences can be amplified, including limited DNA templates, single copy genes and low copy transcripts. Amplified products can be used directly for cloning without further purification.
