F-Series transducers measure force in small contractile tissues. The standard Model F30 features excellent resolution of ۬ mg over a useful force range of 䕂 g (۪.3 N). The Model F10 has a lower force range of 䔮 g (۪.1 N) and ultra-high resolution of ۪.5 mg, making it suitable for detecting the minute force changes commonly found in small tissue preparations. The F30 and F10 are based on the magneto-resistive field plate principle. Field plates are electronically connected to form a Wheatstone Bridge so that the F30/F10 can be used with virtually any standard transducer amplifier. Both models display low vertical displacement of the load element for true isometric measurements.
