Extracel-LG hydrogel is a hyaluronan-based, synthetic extracellular matrix that can be easily customized for a specific stem cell type or application. For instance, a researcher can add specific human growth factors and/or extracellular matrix proteins to the hydrogel to design the ideal formulation for his or her needs. Researchers can also adjust Extracel-LG’s stiffness, allowing an additional level of experimental control.
