Synthetic Extracellular Matrix
Extracel-X hydrogel is an easy-to-use hyaluronan-based synthetic extracellular matrix for preparing tumor xenografts in mice. It is lactate dehydrogenase-elevating virus (LDEV) free. To reconstitute the hydrogel, the user simply dissolves the contents of three of the vials, mixes, adds cells, and injects. No low temperature handling is needed. Kits are available in either three 2.5 ml or a single 12.5 ml aliquots.
