Digital X-Ray Module For Imaging Small Animals
A digital X-ray imaging accessory is available for Eastman Kodak Company Scientific Imaging Systems’ Image Station 2000MM Multimodal Imaging System. The shielded enclosure contains the x-ray source, associated controls and safety features. It adds on-board high resolution digital x-ray imaging to the system’s multi-wavelength fluorescence, luminescence and radioisotopic imaging capabilities. Researchers can capture and precisely co-register anatomical X-rays of tissues, organs and whole animals with molecular-based imaging modalities, improving anatomical localization of molecular signals that are generated by optical and radioisotopic-based molecular imaging agents. The system offers quantitative imaging of luminescent, fluorescent, radiographic and colorimetric labeled biomolecules in a variety of common assay formats including membranes, electrophoresis gels, plates, tissues and in-vivo assays. Specifications include 14-bit imaging performance, mega-pixel resolution, 10× optical zoom, and comprehensive image analysis.
