Renoir R-1850 Infrared Neural Stimulator (INS) is a fiber-coupled laser that generates reliable, pulsed, mid-infrared (IR) light. The compact, low-cost, optical neural stimulator exhibits excellent performance to the electrical stimulators ubiquitous in nerve stimulation applications. It features user-selectable pulse repetition rate, pulse energy and pulse width. A fiber optic interface allows flexible delivery of light onto the target. Measuring just 12.5 × 12.25 × 4.57 inches, it can be used where space is limited.
