Biotinylated Affinity-Purified Polyclonals
Biotinylated affinity-purified polyclonal antibodies against Human SREC-I/SR-FI and Mouse LOX-1 are available. SREC-I and LOX-1 belong to the scavenger receptor family. Scavenger receptors are made of structurally distinct proteins that share a common functional role in innate immunity through receptor-mediated endocytosis. LOX-1 is a type II transmembrane protein that belongs to the C-type Lectin family. It is highly expressed on endothelial cells and functions as an endocytic receptor for atherogenic oxidized LDL. SREC-I is a type F receptor expressed on endothelial cells and macrophages. It binds Fucoidin and acetylated LDL, and serves as an endocytic receptor for Calreticulin and Gp96.
