Mouse Tie-2 ELISA
Mouse Tie-2 Quantikine ELISA kit is available from R&D Systems. Tie-2 is a 145 kDa, type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein that functions as a ligand-induced homodimer. Tie-2 contributes to vascular integrity by mediating endothelial cell-smooth muscle cell communication and inhibits endothelial cell apoptosis. Tie-2 is also required for embryonic development of the endocardium and postnatal bone marrow hematopoiesis. Tie-2 is expressed by embryonic and adult endothelial cells, hematopoietic stem cells, and B cells. This assay has a sensitivity of 18.9 pg/ml, a dynamic range from 125 to 8000 pg/ml, and is fully validated for mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and cell culture supernates.
