The Z216 MK microcentrifuge features a quiet, brushless induction motor that spins samples at speeds up to 21,380 ×g, while the unit’s quick-COOL feature cools down the rotor chamber in minutes. Six rotor options maximize flexibility and accommodate up to 44 × 1.5 ml or 64 × 0.5 ml tubes. LCD control panel provides control over all operating parameters including rpm/rcf set-point and conversion, run time, acceleration and deceleration level, and storage of up to 99 programs. Safety is provided with the imbalance detection system with automatic shut-off. An 11-inch footprint conserves bench space.
