Three RNA isolation kits — the Cytoplasmic and Nuclear RNA Purification Kit, a Leukocyte RNA Purification Kit and a microRNA Purification Kit — are available. These kits make the purification of all types of RNA a simple and routine task. They are designed for the rapid processing of small volumes of sample, yet are sensitive enough to yield sufficient RNA for downstream applications. All the kits allow for the isolation of RNA without the use of phenol or chloroform. The Cytoplasmic and Nuclear RNA Purification Kit allows for the isolation of genomic DNA-free RNA that can be used directly in downstream applications without any DNase treatment. The microRNA Purification Kit isolates all small RNA molecules while excluding the large molecular weight RNA, which can interfere with expression analysis of the small RNA species.
