OriMaster screens bacterial colonies and prepares plasmid DNA for cycle sequencing, site determination, restriction mapping and other enzymatic reactions. The product uses an in vitro amplification method that starts from a single bacterial colony — overnight cultures are not needed. Reactions are scalable with this flexible system, i.e., reaction volumes can be adapted to individual needs. The system produces linear, double-stranded copies of plasmids up to 9 kb—regardless of template number.
