Second Messenger Assay
IP-One Assay System, for use in high-throughput drug screening applications, is a homogeneous screening platform that delivers precise and time-sensitive second messenger measurement. It is also a functional means of precisely investigating GPCR mechanistics occurring at the membrane level. Based on HTRF technology, it is the first high throughput system that can easily detect inositol(1)phosphate (IP1), one of the major products of the phosphatidyl inositol cascade, which tightly correlates with Gq-coupled activity. The system is also compatible to a variety of natural and chimeric constructs that can be expressed in various cell lines.
