Biometra TGGE Peltier element-based system is offered specifically for rapid mutation analysis during the screening of PCR fragments. Gradient set-up is quick, and separation conditions are reproducible. The system is capable of identifying different mutations occurring on the same strand of DNA, commonly called alleles or haplotypes. Improvements in the construction, such as the downsized gel dimension, yield high resolution, and short run times result in the quick optimization of experiments.
