The UltraSpense 2000 eliminates edge effects and uniformly delivers viable cells to 384-well microplates when compared to conventional peristaltic dispensers. By simply recovering the perimeter row of a 384 well plate, a 25% gain in usable assays is achieved with CHO, Hek293 and Cos-7 cells. A coated manifold uniformly distributes material to all eight tips. A proprietary pumping algorithm overcomes the natural tendency for fluids to accumulate on the outside of the manifold tips.
