Assay Panel of Non-Synonymous SNPs
The number of available non-synonymous SNPs has doubled from the original 10,000 to a total of 20,000 that can be used in human genotyping studies. The enlarged non-synonymous coding SNP panel represents more than 10,000 human genes with SNPs that code for amino acid changes — the changes that are believed to have the greatest impact on phenotype.
