Humidified enclosure for the plate stacker of the Genetix high throughput QArray2 microarrayer allows humidity in the plate stacker to be controlled independently of the robot bed. Optimum humidity levels can be achieved in both areas, improving consistency between spotted samples. The new enclosure allows high levels of humidity to be generated in the plate stacker, reducing evaporation from the lidded source plates and helping to maintain the integrity of samples in the microplate wells. The QArray2 is a high throughput arrayer for DNA and protein printing applications, with options available for printing onto slides or into the wells of microplates. The plate stacker can hold up to 70 lidded low-profile source microplates, with automated lid removal and replacement.
