Genotyping, AFLP Analysis Software
GeneMarker is an analytical tool for both AFLP and genotyping applications such as fragment and microsatellite analysis. The program features automated stutter peak and saturation correction, two of the most common genotyping difficulties. Enhanced sensitivity and accuracy is obtained by the program's utilization of the non-processed raw data of either slab gel or capillary electrophoresis. GeneMarker, which is designed for use on Windows based pc platforms, is capable of analysis on up to 1,000 lanes of data generated by either slab gel or capillary. Nearly every analysis function of GeneMarker has been automated in order to keep user intervention at a minimum. Once the template is selected from the menu or created by the user, the software will automatically perform the analysis, icluding self-correction of saturated and peak stutter, providing a myriad of display and reporting options. Upon analysis completion and results confirmation the software saves all the analysis parameters, raw data and results, for easy archiving and data retrieval.
