Identify Differentially Expressed Genes
GeneFishing Technology offers a unique approach for identifying only authentic Differentially Expressed Genes (DEGs) in two or more nucleic acid samples. This technology improves specificity of PCR amplification, enabling researchers to find only real PCR products as a result. GeneFishing DEG kits are the first application of this proprietary technology based on innovative design of the primer (Annealing Control Primer, ACP patent pending). All DEG kits comprise 20 randomly selected arbitrary ACPs (Annealing Control Primers) and each DEG kit works equally for target samples. By eliminating PAGE analysis, the kits can deliver DEGs on agarose gels within 5 hrs (for a three step process: RT reaction for first-strand cDNA synthesis; GeneFishing PCR; agarose gel electrophoresis). Product applications include studying genes which express differentially by each development stage; studying disease-related gene (marker, inhibitor) such as cancer; and studying genes which express differentially by sample treatment (medication or hormone).
