Array Building Kits
Thiol-based Functionalization Kits include a choice of thiol-based chemicals, gold-coated glass slides or coverslips, as well as an easy-to-follow protocol. The kits offer an alternative to purchasing custom-synthesized chemicals in bulk and enable scientists to easily functionalize substrates to build arrays or chips of proteins, DNA or antibodies; to align liquid crystals; and to study the wetting and spreading of liquids and crystal nucleation and growth. Other areas of application include surface plasmon resonance (SPR) and matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization mass spectroscopy (MALDI-MS) applications.
