Recombinant Baculovirus Production System
A new technology for the production of recombinant baculoviruses, the flashBAC system removes the need to separate recombinant virus from parental virus by plaque purification or any other means. The technology removes the need to separate recombinant virus from parental virus, which reduces the technique to a one-step procedure, reducing timelines while maximizing protein yields. Suited for researchers requiring one or a few recombinant baculoviruses, it has also been proven with automated systems to meet high-throughput needs. Kits are affordable and simple to use. Insect expression timelines are reduced by up to 10 days.
