Two-dimensional Electrophoresis System
NextGen Sciences’a2DEoptimizer automates gel casting to user-defined gradients to improve reproducibility and enhance resolution of protein separations. Once a gradient has been designed and stored on the computer, gels are cast automatically, providing the same result every time that particular profile is recalled. The bench-top system runs high-speed IEF at up to 10,000V, will cast gradient gels of any dimension, and can be used with a range of flatbed IEF units and 2nd dimension gel tanks. A suite of 2D equipment compliments the a2DEoptimizer, including the autocast12 large format multi-gel caster, a flatbed IEF system, and an SDS-PAGE running tank. The system uses traditional gel chemistries referenced in thousands of scientific publications and is supplied with ready-to-use reagents.
