Mighty Mix DNA Ligation Kit is a one-solution pre-mix that offers efficient ligations, particularly for blunt-end ligation and TA cloning. The single solution reagent simplifies reaction assembly, and minimizes the risk of contamination by eliminating pipetting steps. The ligation reaction mixture can be used directly for transformations. Generally, reactions are performed at 16 C for 30 minutes, but a rapid protocol (25 C for 5 minutes) is possible for some templates. Additionally, Mighty Mix allows small (10 μl) ligation reaction volumes when sample DNA is limited.
