Ex Taq Polymerase For Real-Time PCR
Real-time PCR offers a quantitative method for viral and bacterial pathogen detection, measurement of gene expression, and mutation detection. Takara's Real Time Ex Taq™ Polymerase, available through Takara Mirus Bio, is a new version of Ex Taq polymerase that has been specially formulated for real time PCR (R-PCR). It offers the same advantages of standard Ex Taq, including high efficiency and fidelity, with enhanced specificity and sensitivity due to an R-PCR optimized buffer and antibody-mediated hot-start technology. A Premix Ex Taq R-PCR polymerase is also available.
