MaxQ 6000 stackable shakers offer two adjustable stationary shelves located above an 18× 18 rotating platform. Available in incubated or refrigerated digital models, the units can be used for plasmid purification, protein expression studies, genetic research, solubility studies, growth of bacteria and yeast and metabolism work. A triple-eccentric drive handles heavy workloads, provides uniform agitation and enables continuous 24-hour operation. Incubated chamber temperature ranges from 10 C above ambient to 80 C. Refrigerated temperature ranges from 15 C below ambient to 80 C. The units feature a door with a large glass-viewing window and can be used under the bench or stacked two high on the floor. The 18× 18 platform holds up to five 2L Erlenmeyer flasks and has a 0.75 circular orbit. Speed, operating time and temperature can be viewed simultaneously on three individual displays.
