General Purpose Centrifuge System



The Sorvall Legend T and RT Plus Centrifuges include a range of high-capacity rotors and adapters for research and clinical applications. The versatile 3-liter centrifuge utilizes carbon fiber rotors to deliver superspeed centrifugation in a bench-top unit: 14 × 50 ml conical tubes; 8 × 50 ml conical tubes at over 22000 × g; 6 × 250 ml bottles at 15000 × g, and 48 × 1.5/2 ml at over 24000 × g, and 28 × 50 ml conical tubes in the swinging bucket rotor in sealed conditions. For blood tube processing, the system offers adapters that deliver 108 × 5 or 7 ml blood collection tubes and 84 × 10 ml blood collection tubes capacity.
