HPLC System For Proteomics
NanoLC Proteomics System is an HPLC that facilitates nanoscale LC/MS (liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry) without flow splitting. The system enhances detection sensitivity and reproducibility for LC/MS proteomics studies, while offering ease of set-up, operation, and maintenance. The NanoLC includes a complete line of instruments and consumables, and the system is comprised of a binary gradient pump, autosampler, injection valve, control software, and separation columns. The system is based on the Eksigent Technologies' Microfluidic Flow Control (MFC), which uses continuous feedback to an electronically controlled pressure source to maintain precise nanoscale flow rates without flow splitting. Precise control at extremely low flow rates provides dramatic improvements in detection sensitivity. The system's ability to change flow rate rapidly, or peak park, provides the mass spectrometer with more time to acquire data on specific components, further increasing the number of identified proteins.
