The four-bay DNA Engine Tetrad 2 thermal cycler offers four times the capacity of a single-bay unit in a footprint only twice the size. Up to eight individual sample blocks can be controlled independently or as a group, giving researchers the flexibility to run and start different protocols on any of the four bays at any time. An onboard computer provides mouse-directed point-and-click navigation, which allows protocols to be created and edited rapidly and easily. Real-time displays of block, sample, and lid temperatures provide quality assurance.
