Phosphoprotein Assays
Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. has announced six bead-based phosphoprotein assays for its Bio-Plex suspension array system. The products include: phospho-p70 S6 kinase, phospho-p90RSK, phospho-STAT2 and phospho-TrkA, total Akt, and total p90RSK. Single-plex assays can be used individually to detect one analyte at a time, or can be combined as multiplex assays to detect a specific set of phosphoproteins in a single sample. Premixed multiplex assays are available through Bio-Rad’s online x-Plex assay service (www.bio-rad.com/bio-plex/x-plex/). Bio-Plex phosphoprotein and total target assays are part of the Bio-Plex suspension array system that permits the simultaneous analysis of up to 100 different biomolecules in a single well. Bio-Rad¹s integrated approach to multiplex analysis combines hardware, system control and data analysis software, performance validation tools and optimized assays.
