Streamlined Proteomics Data Analysis
Enabling accelerated processing of complex proteomics data, this streamlined proteomics data analysis system combines SEQUEST Cluster software with the eServer™ 1350 Linux® Cluster to provide a powerful information technology (IT) infrastructure that turns data into scientific discovery and new treatments for disease. This technology puts SEQUEST Cluster software on as many nodes needed to process data faster. Using tandem Liquid Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (LC/MSn), the combined systems offer a scalable solution for computing the large volumes of data typical in most proteomics analyses, as protein database search times are significantly reduced. The system complements the proprietary ProteomeX™ Workstation, allowing the separation and detection of thousands of peptides from a complex mixture of digested proteins, resulting in thousands of spectra in one hour. The entire Cluster software is delivered fully racked, cabled, and tested onsite.
