MLX luminometer incorporates plate shaking and temperature control for use in luminescent applications such as glow endpoint, kinetic, flash, and dual-flash modes. Utilizing up to three injectors and the latest Revelation data-reduction software, the unit accommodates a variety of reaction chemistry types. The software controlled plate-shaking feature reduces assay variability and improves peak luminescence intensity. Particularly useful for flash reactions, the plate-shaking feature simultaneously mixes reagents added during injection and reads. A patented internal light source subsystem calibrates the MLX’s detection system every time the instrument powers-up. Positive displacement injectors with inert PEEK tubing deliver reagents at volumes from 5 to 250 μl, in five μl increments.
