High Throughput Platform For Pipetting System
TTP LabTech have launched a high throughput option for their mosquito™ nanoliter liquid handling system, further enhancing its capacity for compound dissolution applications such as compound-to-assay plate creation using a single step dilution. The mosquito can pipette accurately and reproducibly throughout the 50 nl-1.2 μl volumetric range producing CVs of <10% at 50 nl. This, along with the system's reel of 35,000 micropipettes, change ultra-low-volume liquid handling possibilities. The disposable tips eliminate cross-contamination worries, and working at such small volumes helps to reduce assay costs significantly. The new high throughput option, mosquito HT, offers increased walk-away time, for applications such as sub-cloning plates during compound dissolution in 96, 384 and 1536 plates. Visual Basic™ compatible software provides a standard automation interface to third-party devices, so mosquito HT can integrate seamlessly with existing instrumentation.
