Superconducting NMR Magnets
UltraShield Plus actively shielded superconducting NMR magnets feature proprietary technology for a significant decrease in stray NMR magnetic fields. They feature 5 Gauss stray fields that are almost another order of magnitude smaller by volume. The footprint of the magnet requires four times less space for the 5 Gauss safety zone than first generation UltraShield magnets, allowing operation in smaller lab spaces, while improving operational safety. They provide improved shielding against external magnetic field interference, for increased field stability and NMR performance in challenging environments, such as metropolitan areas with subways and other electrical power sources. The magnets are fully integrated into the proprietary Avance INCA™ and Avance ICE™ dedicated NMR systems.
