Claudin-7 Antibody
Claudin-7, one of the 23 identified members of the claudin protein family, is a tight junction protein expressed in normal human and mouse epithelia, and down-regulated in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. Zymed Laboratories' Rb x Claudin-7 antibody was used in a study correlating loss of claudin-7 expression with increased histological grade in breast cancer. Loss of claudin-7 is associated with the discohesive architecture characteristic ofhigh-grade lesions, suggesting that the absence of claudin-7 may contribute to metastatic potential in breast cancer. Zymed offers a complete line of claudin antibodies, including monoclonal and polyclonal anti-Claudin-1, -2, -3, -4, -5, -7, -14, -15 and -16.
