Cell Culture Dishes
Vivadish, a rectangular cell culture plate with four parallel chambers, accommodates standard microscope slides. Simultaneous cell culture experiments can be performed in one plate: cells are grown directly on the inner surface or onto standard glass slides and are easily fixed, stained, and examined inside the plate. Two surface types are available: tissue culture grade to directly support growth of adherent cells, and microbiological grade for non-adherent cell culture or for preparation of glass slide mounts. Optical properties allow the microscopic inspection and microphotography of the cells throughout the experiments. The dishes fit into microscope stage adapters, rotors, readers, and automated handling devices for microplates. Suited to karyotyping, immunofluorescence-based studies, and genotoxicity tests, the dishes accept inserts and surface modifications and are therefore versatile.
