Fractionate Proteins, Peptides By Isoelectric Point



The 3100 OFFGEL Fractionator fractionates intact proteins or peptides by isoelectric point (pI) in liquid phase. Sample complexity is reduced, while the sensitivity of LC/MS analysis is greatly increased. Fractionation is pI-based, with 0.1 – 0.6 pH resolution depending on which consumable kit is used. In-solution fraction recovery facilitates transfer to an LC/MS. Two power supplies allow simultaneous fractionation of two sample sets with broad differences in concentration. Up to 16 samples can be fractionated at the same time. Load capacity is micro to milligram. Conventional in-gel IEF and be performed as well. Preconfigured methods are provided for OFFGEL and in-gel modes. Online current control is available for each individual sample.
