Metabolite Indentification Software



MassHunter Metabolite ID software, a new member of Agilent Technology’s MassHunter Workstation software suite, features include an interface that displays all information at a glance and an integrated workflow, from acquisition through reporting. Multiple algorithms increase confidence in the identification of both expected and unexpected metabolites. Sample/control comparison is based on a molecular feature extraction (MFE) algorithm, which reliably detects all metabolites. A molecular formula generation algorithm uses both MS and MS/MS accurate mass information to reduce the number of potential molecular formulas for each metabolite.
