HPLC Columns
Poroshell HPLC columns are now available in C3 and C8 phases and narrow microbore (1 × 75 mm) configurations, and are ideal for intact protein separations and high-efficiency operation. Designed for low pH, high temperature and high flow rate separations, the columns contain particles with a solid silica core surrounded by a thin outer layer of porous silica. MS analysis of intact proteins is possible even in the presence of stabilizers and tissue culture media. Molecular weight determination can be accomplished on a standard Poroshell column with as little as 1 to 5 pmol of protein.
