Hollow Fiber Cell Culture System
SOLO Hollow Fiber Cell Culture System is a closed continuous flow bioreactor that can cost-effectively achieve cell densities over 108/ml and produce 100 mg to 2 grams of protein per month. Various molecular weight cutoff (MWCO) hollow fiber cartridges can be used to maximize selection and yield of secreted proteins. Secreted products are typically 100 times more concentrated than from flask or conventional bioreactor cultures. Appropriate for both adherent and suspension cell lines, the SOLO system includes a single microprocessor-controlled pump that fits easily in most CO2 incubators. The SOLO system can support all types and sizes of hollow fiber cartridges, from research to production scale. In addition to monoclonal antibody production, other pootocols are available for producing recombinant proteins, cytokines and growth factors, as well as for endothelial cell culture and artificial organ research.
