DNA Extraction Kits
DNA isolation and purification is a critical step in molecular biology procedures. Tecan System's new MagPrep® kits for PCR cleanup and genomic DNA extraction automate the isolation of DNA from human blood and the purification of target DNA from PCR. The kits are based on proprietary Silica magnetic bead technology. The chemistry eliminates centrifugation and chemical desalting steps. Together with the Tecan MiniPrep series of laboratory robots and its Te-MagS magnetic separation device, the kits provide reproducible results with a minimum of manual pipetting.
