ELISPOT Kits
Human and Mouse IFN ELISPOT Kits, as well as a Starter ELSPOT Kit, are available from Pierce Biotechnology under its Endogen brand. The kits contain the basic components and protocol to develop 2 ELISPOT plates, and include 2 pre-coated 96-well Membrane Plates; Biotin-labeled Detection Antibody; Streptavidin-AP Conjugate; Streptavidin-AP Diluent; 10 × Wash Buffer; and NBT/BCIP Substrate Solution. The antibody pairs, antibody concentration and volume, plates and detection strategies provide optimal conditions for each cytokine. The plate coating and blocking conditions provide well-to-well and within-well consistency of spot forming cells (SFC), high signal-to-noise ratios and low background. All components undergo quality control testing to reduce lot-to-lot variability. The starter kit was also developed by combining the membrane plates, blocking buffer, Streptavidin-AP, and NBT/BCIP substrate into a kit format to make developing an ELISPOT assay easy. Researchers can use the starter kit to develop the assays using their own matched antibody pairs.
