Protein Desalting Columns
These columns provide fast, easy desalting of protein samples with volumes of 30 to 120 μl. Proteins greater than 7,000 MW can be separated from salt and other small molecules up to approximately 800 MW. Excellent desalting characteristics provide salt removal that is 95 - 99% for volumes up to 120 μl. Protein recovery is approximately 90%, depending on the starting concentration and load volume. The columns can also be used in place of dialysis for buffer exchange.
