A Human 1M BeadChip has been added to Illumina’s Infinium product family. Using the product, researchers can interrogate over one million diverse genetic variants on a single array. The BeadChip combines content for both whole-genome and copy number variation (CNV) analysis, along with additional unique, high-value genomic regions of interest. The chip will be powered by Illumina's Infinium Assay, providing data quality, genomic coverage, and intelligent probe selection. The new chips will also include additional tagSNPs selected from all populations studied by the International HapMap Project.
