Two-liter Centrifuge Bottle
The NALGENE 2L Bio Bottle supports high-volume sample processing. When used with the Sorvall RC12BP centrifuge and H-12000 swinging-bucket rotor, the bottles enable scientists to process 12 liters of sample in a single run, making it ideal for gross separations of samples including bacterial, yeast and tissue isolations performed in compliance with GMP regulations. The bottle and sealing cap are leak-proof up to 7,333 ×g, and have an operating temperature range from 4 C to 22 C, with storage to 0 C. Constructed of chemical-resistant polypropylene copolymer, the bottles meet USP Class VI and are certified non-cytotoxic and non-hemolytic. A wide mouth opening simplifies decanting, re-suspensions and pellet removal, and the smooth inner walls are less likely to shear cells. Loading, recovery and sample storage are facilitated with an ergonomic design that includes graduations for precise measurement. The bottles can be autoclaved.
