Vertical Array Loader
The Vertical Array Loader (VAL) expands the capabilities of the CRS Dimension4™ automation platform to provide fast, random access to microplates in vertical shelves, instruments with multiple nests, and stacked instruments. It consists of an articulated robotic arm and rotating microplate gripper, mounted on a high-speed vertical axis, all driven by servo motors. The unit is powered by POLARA™ lab automation software.
