Micro Spotting Devices
Micro Spotting Devices, 946, Stealth and ChipMaker are used in microarray manufacturing. A full line of stock and custom print heads are available to fit any robot. Spot sizes range from 50-600 mm, depending on the tip size. Over 60 different interchangeable pin styles are available with loading volumes of 0.25, 0.60 and 1.25 ml producing 200, 600 and 1200 spots per sample uptake. Custom pin loading volumes and tip styles are available. Tapping force is not required to expel the sample, as the pins utilize a surface tension printing mechanism. Printing relies on light contact between the pin, sample, and surface. Pins and printheads provide durability for millions of printing cycles.
