96-Well Microarray
Microarray Microplate Hardware contains 96 separate wells. The glass plate comes with customer-selected surface chemistry and detaches from the rest of the chamber for spotting and scanning flexibility. Each subarray measures 7.7mm × 7.7mm, providing maximum printable real estate as well as conforming to robotic liquid handling platforms. SuperClean substrates are untreated and delivered ready to use for custom surface chemistry applications. Glass is precisely cut and polished to atomic flatness (50 angstroms over 76 mm) to provide a homogenous surface. SuperClean Microarray Substrates have an average flatness of 2.0 nm or 20 angstroms, which corresponds to approximately 10 silicon dioxide bonds. SuperAmine chemistry is used to immobilized unmodified long oligos and cDNA's for gene expression microarrays. SuperAldehyde is used to immobilized amino modified oligos, amino modified cDNA, proteins, cells, lysates, tissues, etc. SuperAldehyde has been used in many protein microarray applications. SuperEpoxy chemistry provides a surface on which to immobilize both amino modified and unmodified long oligos and cDNA's for DNA microarrays.
